Classics revisited
The old VB6, QBasic, Excel and Assembly games, rebuilt to play in your browser.
Play them on a Windows 98-style desktop: icons, a Start menu, and every game in its own window that you can drag around.
// NoteEach one is rebuilt in plain HTML5 + JavaScript from its original source code: same window, same rules, same timings and the original graphics, with nothing to install. Where the source was lost or a file was missing, the game's own notes say what had to be reconstructed.

Ludum Dare
Games made in a weekend for the Ludum Dare game jam.
// NoteLudum Dare is an online game jam: make a game from scratch in one weekend, on a theme announced when it starts. No Escape was jukimv1986's Jam entry for Ludum Dare 21 in August 2011, on the theme Escape. You are trapped in a fuzzy maze and follow a strange beeping sound to the green portals. It plays here from its original HTML5 canvas and audio files. esfiera was a 48-hour Compo entry, made alone, for Ludum Dare 26 in April 2013, on the theme Minimalism: the story of a circle, with no sound and two endings. It placed #95 for Theme, and it runs here from its original code. Alice Anxiety was the Mandarina Games team's Jam entry for Ludum Dare 30 in August 2014, on the theme Connected Worlds: a girl in Barcelona faces a new school year and her anxiety, by day in the city and by night in its nightmare version. It runs here as a WebGL build of the post-jam demo, upgraded to Unity 6. 25 was jukimv1986's Jam entry for Ludum Dare 31 in December 2014, on the theme Entire Game on One Screen: a white grid that grows from 1 to 25 squares and hides four puzzles, with no instructions. It placed #161 for Audio, and it runs here as a WebGL build of the original Unity project, upgraded to Unity 6. Copy Gun was the Mandarina Games team's Jam entry for Ludum Dare 32 in April 2015, on the theme An Unconventional Weapon: a tangerine escapes a mad scientist's lab with a gun that clones animals. It placed #361 for Graphics, and it runs here as a WebGL build of the original Unity project, upgraded to Unity 6.
Demos

// NoteDemos come from the demoscene, where the challenge is to fit a whole audiovisual show into a tiny file. In Neon Monsoon everything is generated by code while it plays: the city, the effects and the music, with no libraries, images or audio files. It starts silent; press Jack in to hear it. The Screensaver is the 2008 VB6 one from The Classics, rebuilt with its original Configuration window and six new models to pick from. Noclip is a 64k intro made as a found VHS tape: a fall into the Backrooms through Level 0, the Poolrooms, a dream sky and Level !, where every room and every sound is generated by code in under 40 KB. It has flickering lights. Latent asks what machines dream: a machine made of words falls asleep in a terminal and, for three minutes, dreams of the world it has only read about, from a sea written as a poem and sheep counted until the counter overflows to a tree going through a year in ink. It is 262,144 points, and every one of them is a letter. Phosphene is two minutes of what you see with your eyes closed: Heinrich Klüver's four form constants (lattice, cobweb, tunnel and spiral), then a raymarched fractal temple and a Mandelbulb, over a psytrance track synthesized as it plays. It has bright colours and flashing. Rita is a short film in Catalan, made to look like a 1930s black-and-white reel: the true story of Rita Capdevila i Adam, a maid who served an Italian family for more than thirty years, lost her box of savings to the police in July 1936 and won it back before the Generalitat's Comissió de Responsabilitats in 1937. The facts come from Isidro Virgili Pons's doctoral thesis on that Commission. Béton Brut is a 4k intro, 4,077 bytes in all: an endless megastructure of raw concrete, cut hard to a 130 BPM techno track with an acid line. As in the demoscene's 4k competitions, the code is stored compressed inside the page and unpacked by the browser. It has flashing lights.

// NoteNoPlayfulSilkMatters is jukimv1986's music alias. Trekstor Tapes collects 22 tracks from 2003 to 2005, recovered from a portable-drive backup. Side A is eight original mixes, played from the files. Side B is fourteen FL Studio 4 sessions that only survived as project files: their notes and arrangements are read from the projects, and the sounds are synthesized in your browser. Sobremesa is Mediterranean chill-out for long family meals: nylon guitar, electric piano, handpan and the sea, composed in your browser as it plays, so it never ends and never loops the same way twice. Pick a course (Aperitivo, Dinner or Café) and leave it on.
