Press ON to switch the handheld on, then Start. Clicking a light flips it and its four neighbours. Turn every light off. Each level has a target number of moves (6 to 10). Hit it exactly and you move straight on. Go up to ten moves over and the board blinks your extra moves before the next level. Any worse and you get the X and play the level again.
Select cycles through the modes, shown as a lit cell in the top row. The first cell is the normal game. The third lets you draw your own puzzle: press Start to clear the board, click the cells you want lit, press Start to save it and Start again to play it. Pressing Select during a game lets you pick any level you have already reached by clicking its cell (0-24).

Rebuilt in HTML5 + JavaScript from the original Visual Basic 6 source (Pict.frm, 2003). The 25 level layouts, move targets, animations and sounds are the original ones. Your progress is saved in this browser, just as the original kept it in the Windows registry.
