// How to play
There are no instructions: that was the point. The whole game is one screen and one grid of white squares that keeps growing, from 1 square to 4, 9, 16 and finally 25. Watch which squares light up, then click. A mistake zooms the grid back out to the start.
Stuck? The secrets (spoilers)
The single square flashes red: press it. On the 2×2 grid each square has a colour, and the one you press decides what the bigger grids become:
- Red: Simon says. Repeat an ever-longer sequence of squares.
- Green: one square on each grid is the right one; any other sends you back to the start.
- Blue: lights out. Each press toggles a square and its neighbours; turn every square white.
- Yellow: press every square once.
// Ludum Dare 31
jukimv1986's Jam entry for Ludum Dare 31 (5–8 December 2014), whose theme was Entire Game on One Screen. Code and design by jukimv1986; audio by JS Sounds. It placed #161 for Audio, and the music was what players remembered most.
It was made in Unity 4.6 for the Unity Web Player, which browsers dropped long ago. It runs here as a WebGL build of the jam project, upgraded to Unity 6 in 2026: the same scene, code and music. The first load is about 11 MB.
