Copy Gun needs a keyboard and a mouse: it does not play on touch screens.
// How to play
Get the tangerine home through 20 levels; finish them all to unlock 5 director's-cut bonus levels on the level selection screen. Move with a and d (or the arrow keys) and jump with w, ↑ or space. The copy gun follows the mouse: right-click an animal to capture its image, left-click to shoot the materials for a copy, and left-click again to materialise it. Stuck? r restarts the level, and esc goes back to the level selection.
// The story
The little tangerine has finally escaped from the mad scientist's lab. But the way home to Mandarina Land is far from easy peasy mandarin-squeezy: the animals around the lab have been changed by its tests and are now strange and lethal. Luckily, before leaving, the tangerine grabbed a strange, glowing device, a copy gun that clones any animal it captures an image of.
// Ludum Dare 32
Mandarina Games' Jam entry for Ludum Dare 32 (17–20 April 2015), whose theme was An Unconventional Weapon, submitted by jukimv1986. Art by Alicia Ortiz, code by Sergi Valls, levels by Joaquim Virgili, made at the jam gathering Mandarina Games hosted at the Parc Audiovisual de Catalunya in Terrassa. It placed #361 for Graphics among the Jam entries (#568 overall). See the archived entry page.
It was made in Unity 4.6 for the Unity Web Player, which browsers dropped long ago. It runs here as a WebGL build of the original project, upgraded to Unity 6 in 2026: the same levels, art and code, with the tangerine's bones and arm and leg IK now on Unity's 2D Animation package. The first load is about 17 MB.
